The project

Precision joinery for a private villa in The Lakes — media walls, wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry and vanities designed and produced by Vocus.

Some projects are defined by a single craft. In The Lakes, that craft was joinery: a programme of designed, made-to-measure pieces that give the villa its character — a full media wall, walk-in wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, vanities and shelving.

Each piece began as a design drawing and became a shop drawing before it became timber and veneer — dimensioned to the millimetre, finished to sample, and installed by the same team that detailed it.

The result reads as architecture rather than furniture: storage that disappears, display that composes itself, and rooms that feel resolved because everything in them was made for exactly where it stands.
