Al Aweer First is a working plot, not a visualisation. Vocus Building Contracting is building a private villa here from bare ground to Ground + 2, under a Dubai Municipality building permit displayed at the boundary. The permit board in these photographs is the real one; the owner's name and plot number are covered, because a client's details are not marketing material.
The photographs record the stages that decide whether everything above them is true. Setting-out came first — tape, timber profile boards and offset pegs fixing the grid before a machine touched the ground. Then excavation to formation level, pad footings shuttered and laid out square against that grid, reinforcement delivered and stacked to the bar schedule, and formwork panels handled and checked one by one ahead of the pour.
None of that sequence is glamorous, and that is precisely the point: a villa is won or lost below ground, where a mistake becomes permanent. The plot sits among occupied villas, so access, deliveries, material storage and dust control are planned rather than improvised. The site runs under Vocus engineers and supervisors with our own trained workforce, with progress and committed cost reported to the owner as the work moves. Construction is ongoing, and the structure will be documented here as it rises.
